CIEMAT joins the Virgo Collaboration

The Virgo Collaboration warmly welcomes its newest member CIEMAT!

CIEMAT is a Spanish technological and scientific research center with long experience in development of instrumentation and analysis of data for Particle and Astroparticle Physics experiments. CIEMAT participation in Virgo focuses on the design and deployment of upgraded mechanics elements aiming to increase the sensitivity of Advanced Virgo, as well as on the improvement of its computing system and the development of machine learning tools for data analysis.
