just opened a call for a post-doc fellowship ("assegno
ricerca") at the University of Urbino, on prospects for applying atom interferometry to the detection of gravitational waves.
fellowship is funded by the Ministry of University (PRIN programme)
and by the local Department, in synergy with groups of the
Universities of Firenze and Bologna and with INFN and INGV.
The successful candidate will spend about half of her/his time on the simulation of atom interferometers, and the other half on developing the science case; in this respect, a strong synergy with LSC-Virgo data analysis is expected.
Details are available at https://www.uniurb.it/concorsi/3897
The position is for one year renewable; funds are already available at least for a second year.
Deadline for applications is June 12th, 2017.
